Frankenstein
von Darius Pasdar
On Monday 5th December four classes of grade 9 and 10 went on an excursion to Littenweiler and visited the play „Frankenstein“ (Mary Shelley) performed by the PH-playmates.
The scientist‘s creation is an ugly being uttering hideous sounds until a friendly blind man teaches him to talk. And yet he is rejected and abandoned by the people he meets and by his creator. He suffers and feels terribly lonely.
The promise that Frankenstein will create a girlfriend for him is not fulfilled and the monster takes revenge…
The actors were convincing and the the play was very entertaining.
Students followed the performance attentively and were able to ask the actors questions afterwards.
